Past Nintendo consoles, and the Wii U especially, have suffered for not supporting the latest and greatest videogames offered by the Xbox and PlayStation brands. Not so with the Switch, which is seeing ports of current-gen third party titles from several publishers, among them Bethesda, who brought the recent DOOM update/reboot/sequel to the Switch last Friday. We talked a bit about it in Episode 9 and will talk more about it in Episode 10, weighing the advantages and disadvantages brought to DOOM by the Switch’s lower-powered portability.
