Originally developed for PlayStation 4 and Vita in 2016, Dragon Quest Builders has a port due out in February and a sequel planned for later in the year. Awakened by the goddess Rubiss in the aftermath of the original Dragon Quest’s bad ending, players assume the role of the Builder who must help the people of a destroyed world rebuild their civilization and fend off an army of monsters. Essentially Minecraft with a story and more clear goals applied on top of it, it was one of Andrew’s (@playcritically) favorite games on 2016. There is a demo up on the eshop now that comprises the first several hours of the game, and you can watch Andrew play the first hour of it below.
