One of the first releases from Electronic Art’s EA Originals publishing label, Fe (pronounced fee-uh, apparently) casts the player as a critter in an alien forest whose peaceful life is interrupted by the arrival of sinister creatures that begin kidnapping the other animals of the forest. But the player character is smarter than the average critter, and can learn the songs of the other animals to rally them in resistance against the invaders. An esoteric game with an alien color palette and a rich soundscape, Fe is a deceptively traditional 3D platformer with some modern indie sensibilities. You can watch Andrew (@playcritically) play the first hour below.
