Fear Effect was a popular PS1 duology that emerged in the Survival Horror heyday to decent success, but remained dormant for almost two decades… until now, when Fear Effect Sedna is published on multiple platforms by Square-Enix, including the Switch. Picking up with the characters in a new adventure that finds them investigating stolen artifacts which lead them to Arctic Greenland, Fear Effect Sedna finds players guiding a squad through a 3D isometric level in an extremely rudimentary tactical shooting system. Tough puzzles modeled strongly after 1990s-era Adventure games provide periodic roadblocks to the player.
