A detective robot is approached by a fabricator robot on the subway, asking it to investigate the disappearances of other robots which Management seems stumped by. Thus begins Subsurface Circular, a short mystery story where the detective’s inquiries into the missing robot quickly unravels a mystery that will effect the entire society in which it lives. Made by Indie icon Mike Bithell, most famous for Thomas Was Alone, it is the first in a series of expected “Bithell Shorts,” brief narrative-based videogames which can be beaten in a short play session; Andrew (@playcritically) beat Subsurface Circular in about two hours.
